Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station to Gangtok — Pickup
On arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you will be met by our driver who will assist you in boarding your vehicle to Gangtok. On arrival, check into the hotel and enjoy the day at leisure. Gangtok, situated at an altitude of 1,750 metres, is the capital of Sikkim and a gateway to North Sikkim, surrounded by monasteries and orchids.
Gangtok to Lachung — Drive with Sightseeing En Route
After breakfast, drive to Lachung, approximately 120 km and 5–6 hours away. Lachung is a remote town in North Sikkim situated at an altitude of 2,750 metres. En route, stop for sightseeing at scenic waterfalls, viewpoints and villages along the Teesta and Lachung rivers. On arrival, check into the hotel and enjoy the evening amid the mountains
Lachung — Yumthang Valley Excursion
After an early breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Yumthang Valley, also known as the Valley of Flowers, situated at an altitude of about 3,564 metres. The valley is famous for its rhododendron sanctuary, alpine meadows and hot springs, surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Depending on road conditions and permits, the journey can be extended to Zero Point for closer mountain views. Return to Lachung by evening. Yumthang Valley and Zero Point permits are subject to availability and weather and road conditions.
Lachung to Gangtok — Transfer
After breakfast at the hotel, drive back to Gangtok. On arrival, check into the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir — Excursion
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake, also known as Changu Lake, located approximately 35 km from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The lake derives its waters from melting snow from the surrounding mountains. Nathula Pass can be visited at an additional cost of ₹4,500–₹5,500 per vehicle.
Gangtok to Darjeeling — Transfer
After breakfast, proceed to Darjeeling. Located in the Himalayan foothills of West Bengal, Darjeeling is famous for its Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, distinctive black tea plantations and spectacular views of Mt. Kanchenjunga.
Darjeeling — Full-Day Sightseeing
Start early with a visit to Tiger Hill to witness a beautiful sunrise over the Himalayan range, including Kanchenjunga and Mount Everest. On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, continue with city sightseeing covering the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Tibetan Refugee Centre, Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock, Tea Estate from outside and the Japanese Peace Pagoda. Tiger Hill passes are subject to availability. Toy Train Joy Ride is available at an additional cost of ₹1,000–₹1,500 per person, subject to time availability.
Darjeeling to Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station — Drop
After breakfast at the hotel, drive from Darjeeling to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station in time for your flight or train to your onward destination.
